Kellan is excited for New Moon to hit theaters…but even more stroked about Eclipse! He dished to E! about becoming an action star, his workout regimen and being just friends with BFF Ashley Greene:
On being linked to BFF Ashley Greene: “Every day I hear that Ashley and I are dating. It’s like, why can’t friends be friends with the opposite sex? Like is it that bizarre?”
On his secret candy drawer: “I go to the gym maybe once or twice a week for 45 minutes. I hate running. I eat whatever I want. I eat pizza all the time. I have a candy drawer.”
On the action in Eclipse: “Eclipse is a masculine movie. I love it. All the stunts I was able to do by myself. It’s an action movie! It’s going to be one of those movies where guys who aren’t fans of the Twilight series but like seeing a good kickass action movie are going to see it. And they’re going to bring their girlfriends who are anti-Twilight because they don’t want to be on that bandwagon. Then they’re going to come and fall in love with it, too.”
On becoming the next action star: “I have a great team and we’re really focused on becoming that new action hero. I want to be Jason Bourne…and take over that franchise. I love doing stunts and shooting guns and doing fight scenes.”
